AZ School Board Association’s (ASBA) position on issues is guided by its membership and based on the association's political agenda for the year. As a representative of Tombstone USD, I was able to attend the Delegate Assembly for ASBA where other School Board Representatives and I voted on the political position we would like ASBA to take for the 2011-2012 school year. I was excited to participate in a democratic process such as this. It was also an eye opener to the beliefs of other districts and their rational.
