There are four seats open on the Tombstone Unified School District governing board. Two are for two years, while the other two are for four years. Joseph Perotti, Barbara Wills and Frederick Yale have submitted their petitions for a two-year seats. I, however, turned in my petition for one of the four-year seats.
If there are no write-in candidates for the four-year seats, the election will be canceled and Trudy Berry, Cochise County Schools Superintendent, will appoint someone to fill the remaining vacancy.
